Refund & Withdrawal
Last updated 2026-07-09
This page applies to purchases of AI-scan credits, processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. The core free scan requires no payment and this page does not apply to it.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
As an EU consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason (§ 355 BGB), for a full refund.
Why this can end early for instantly-delivered digital content
AI-scan credits are digital content delivered immediately upon successful payment (your account is credited automatically as soon as we receive confirmation of your payment). Under § 356 Abs. 5 BGB, the withdrawal right for digital content can end as soon as delivery begins, but only if all three of the following happened at checkout: (1) you expressly consented to us beginning delivery before the 14-day period ended, (2) you acknowledged that this consent means you lose your right of withdrawal, and (3) we (or Lemon Squeezy, on our behalf) gave you confirmation of the contract, including that acknowledgment, on a durable medium (e.g. an order confirmation email). If any one of those three is missing, your statutory withdrawal right survives instant delivery and a refund remains available on request within the 14-day period.
Our policy regardless
Independently of the legal question above, we offer a 14-day goodwill refund on unused AI-scan credits from the date of purchase. Contact us and we will refund credits you have not yet used, no questions asked. Credits already spent on a completed AI report cannot be refunded, since the service (the AI-generated report) has already been delivered to you.
How to request a refund
Email legetdev@gmail.com with your order reference (from your Lemon Squeezy purchase confirmation) and, where applicable, whether you have used any of the purchased credits. You can also manage or cancel a purchase directly through Lemon Squeezy. See their buyer terms for their own refund and dispute process, which runs alongside the policy on this page.
Submitting your withdrawal electronically
Since 19 June 2026, German law (§ 356a BGB) requires an always-available electronic withdrawal function on the site where a purchase contract is actually concluded. Because Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and the contracting party for your purchase, that obligation sits with Lemon Squeezy's own checkout and account area, not with breach403.vercel.app: no purchase contract is ever concluded on this site. You can also always reach us directly by email as described above.
